Welcome to the C&D Technologies Power Systems Division online Battery Selection Application site.
Formerly home to the Battery Selection Application only, this site now also provides access to
the Flooded (VLA) Product Accessory Kit Application.
How do I gain access to both applications?
One account gives access to both applications.
To gain access to the applications, if you are already a valid user of the battery selection application, go to the login page. If you are not currently a user, or are unsure if you are a user, then go to the request page, and complete the online form to apply for the application.
What does the Flooded (VLA) Product Accessory Kit Application do?
C&D provides both custom and C&D designed (standard) accessory kits. The application allows you to:
- Input the kit number to find the bill of material for any kit, custom or standard.
- Find the part number and bill of material of any standard kit by selecting the battery type and quantity of cells per string.
In addition, the Product Accessory Page includes drawings and general information about components and parts available. |

What does the C&D Powercom Battery Selection Application
do?
The C&D Powercom Battery Selection Application allows users to quickly calculate many values essential for the proper selection of standby battery product via an online application. This allows users to access all the information they need to size and select the proper VRLA or Flooded battery without having to download and install software.
This includes the ability to:
- Select batteries based on constant current loads
- Select batteries based on constant power loads
- Select batteries based on complex step loads
- Calculation on rating tables
- Battery run time analysis
- Short Circuit calculations
- Hydrogen evolution
- Quick and Custom rack selection
- and many more reports, analysis and calculations
